I’m an artist and writer living on the magnificent North East coast of England. I am surrounded by everything I adore: the sea, the North York Moors National Park and fascinating historical places.

My introduction to alternative photography began at art school over twenty years ago. I was drawn to the striking Prussian blue colour of the cyanotype and captivated by the science and position of it within the history of photography. I have a deep-rooted affection for the Victorian era, and cyanotype is one of the earliest photographic printing processes born in that time.

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and inspiring others to be creative. My book, Creative Cyanotype: Techniques & Inspiration, reveals lots of my secrets, which I also teach in my workshops. I look forward to sharing them with you!
